Math TV

What is it?
  • Students can view specific clips (less than one minute each) of how to solve specific examples related to concepts in a variety of mathematical disciplines.

How can you use it?
  • Teachers can show clips to students for a different explanation or a different perspective of how their regular teacher explained the concepts.
  • This is specific for a mathematics classroom but runs from pre-algebra and basic math concepts all the way up through calculus, so there are a number of grade levels that can benefit from this tool.

Why would you use it?
  • Students can use this in the classroom for reinforcement and it can also be used at home for remediation.
  • The teacher can assign a problem, students can work through it and then view the video for confirmation of their technique.
